'Scared' US couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey point guns at protesters passing their mansion

A video of an American couple brandishing assault rifles and pistols as they confront protesters outside their Missouri mansion has gone viral and been retweeted by US President Donald Trump, sparking controversy.
In the video, Mark McCloskey is wearing a pink polo shirt and wrinkled khaki pants, while his wife Patricia is wearing a striped T-shirt and capri pants.
Both stood barefoot in the garden of their home in St. Louis, Missouri, as protesters walked down a private street to demonstrate in front of the mayor's residence on Sunday evening.
Mark McCloskey, 63, who like his 61-year-old wife is a lawyer, told a local news station they were "in shock" when the protesters arrived.
"At least 100 rioters broke through the historic cast-iron gates of Portland Square and stormed into my home while my family was eating dinner outside, leaving us fearing for our lives," he told local CBS affiliate KMOV4.
"This is all private property. There are no public sidewalks or public streets," McCloskey said. "I was afraid we would be killed in seconds, our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed. We were alone in the face of an angry mob."
Trump retweeted but did not comment on a video showing a white couple pointing semiautomatic rifles and pistols at protesters, most of whom were black.
