Safran is the main supplier of new cabins for Alitalia. The newly created national carrier of Italy, Alitalia, has launched a major program of cabin interior transformation for all its Airbus A220, A319ceo, A320neo/ceo, A321neo and A330neo aircraft.
Safran Seats will provide all Economy and Premium Economy Class seats on the new fleet. The company has crafted the seats with the utmost care, using Italian fabrics and leather to give them a more refined look.
Safran Cabin is also a supplier to the fleet, providing exceptionally comfortable rest areas in the cargo hold, especially for crew members.
The Safran Cabin also features a kitchen, cooking facilities and food and beverage carts, ensuring first-class service.
Safran Passenger Innovations has also been selected by ITA Airlines to supply in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems: RAVE Wireless for 12 twin-engine Airbus A320neo aircraft and RAVE Centric for nine Airbus A321neo and 17 Airbus A330neo aircraft.
